The next exciting episode of Adera is now available for purchase in the Windows Store! Just grab the free update to the app and launch the game to purchase the next installment from within the app. If you don’t have an Xbox Live for Windows account, you’ll need to sign up for one to purchase the episode – a free process that can all be done in the game. Just click the download button on the Episodes page to get on your way.
Episode 2 was another challenge for the Adera team, but we’re all very proud of the way it turned out. You’ll be introduced to some new and interesting characters, explore more of the visually stunning world Jane has stumbled into, and solve many more mind-bending puzzles to help Jane on her way. We’re currently hard at work on Episode 3, which should be available shortly after the holidays. We hope you enjoy this new chapter, and let us know what you think of it!

Sorry to hear you were having trouble. There have been a few issues with the Xbox Live on Windows service for purchasing Adera’s new content. Most of these have been worked out at this point. the payment option only gives the possability of choosing a state in the US and not changing the country…

Adera’s later content should definitely be purchasable in other countries. There have been a few issues with the Xbox Live on Windows service for purchasing Adera’s content, but a lot of these have been worked out at this point. Is Adera Episode 2 really released? On both my surface and Windows 8 computer it does not seem to be out but it says “Coming Soon.” I know your post was in November of 2012 but this is near the end of January of 2013. If it is not out, when will it be? And if it is, how can I get it? Thanks.

Hi there. Episode 2 was released in late November yes and Episode 3 should be out shortly. If you are seeing the Coming Soon message you need to update your Adera app by going to the updates section in your Windows Store app. You will also need to set up an Xbox Live on Windows account after you do that (if you haven’t already) in order to purchase the new episodes. If you go to the Episodes page in the main menu you should be able to purchase Episode 2. Just click the Adera drop down in the top left and then click Episodes.

Will there be an update or fix applied to Episode 2 where the voices will be changed to British English just like they are in Episode 1? As currently the voice output in Episode 2 is only American English.

Hi there. The voice-over dialog for Episode 2 was only recorded in American English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. For Episode 3, which should be out next week, voice-over was only recorded for American English. However, the text for Episode 2 was still localized into 40 languages. The text for Episode 3 will be localized into 9 languages, including UK English.

Super psyched for episode 3! I’ve been waiting for it since episode 2 came out. Which reminds me, in future episodes, please try to make them longer.
Also, do I have to pay for each episode? Or when I purchased episode 2, did that purchase all future episodes? Or just all of season 1?
Some clarity on that last bit would be nice. I don’t think I would stick with this game if I had to pay $5 for each episode (which equals about 2 hours of play time).

Am currently playing Episode 1 and think it’s terrific! I’m a veteran of many hidden object games (HOG)and find Adera among the very best. The graphics are phenomenal and the story line intriguing. I am going to purchase Episode 2 as soon as I finish typing this! Thanks so much!

Loved Episodes 1 and 2. Great fun. I just ran through Episode 3 though, and was a bit disappointed. Seemed short, rushed and simple. I’ll be curious to see what others have to say. Hoping Episode 4 gets back on track because otherwise I have had a lot of fun playing. Thank you.

chris i like episode 1 but i have having difficultly downloading episode 2 and 3 when downloading episode 2 it gives me a error code of 214750037 and episode 3 will not download at all please help or could u refund my money

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble. We’re actually releasing a new episode very soon that will have several fixes for acquiring episodes to address some of the issues people have been experiencing. I’d encourage you to keep checking for updates over the next week or two and see if that resolves your problem. If not, you can contact Microsoft through the Xbox Live on Windows forums page to inquire about a refund.

If Google translate has done its job correctly, it sounds like you’re asking how many episodes there will be. The current plan is for Season 1 to end with Episode 5, which will be an extra-length episode.

Have just finished episode 4 and am currently going back to get the collectibles I missed. I have found that I can’t go back and get the caste knot in episode 2 as I can’t get near the bridge. How are people supposed to finish the game if they can’t go back. Also, I can’t replay episode 1.

Are you starting a new game? You never lose collectibles so if you need to go back somewhere in the episode and can’t you can always start a new game for that episode and replay it to grab the rest of the collectibles. I’m not sure what you mean by not being able to replay Episode 1.

Hi Chris, I’ve purchased 3 episodes of ADERA and really liked them all. My concern is it took me 2 times to get 100% on episode 1 but I’ve tried 3 times on 2 and 3 and could get no better than 97% and 85% respectively. Is there any way I can find out what I’m missing? Thanks.

Hi there. Glad to hear you’re enjoying Adera! Congrats on completing Episode 1. As far as finding the last collectibles in the other episodes, be on the lookout for the season finale in a few weeks. Once that’s released you’ll be able to purchase strategy guides for each episode, or the collector’s edition of Season 1, which will include the guides for all episodes. If you haven’t found everything by then, they will provide you with further hints. 🙂

I have tried four times to download #2 and it won`t go 59%. Keeps sayong that the hash won`t blend or something like that. I went to your problem fix and tried it. The store app reset but It still won`t download. not happy because I can`t finish the game without # 2. Getting frusterated. Love the game but……..?

Hi there. Sorry to hear you’re having trouble downloading Episode 2. Please make sure you’re updated to the latest version of the app by checking for updates in the Windows Store app. If you are, I’d suggest continuing to try to download Episode 2 a few more times. Sometimes server traffic can cause issues. Also, try leaving the app open while it downloads, as sometimes the Windows background loader does not perform as expected. I hope you’re able to resolve your issue.

I am in the process of going back and getting the collectibles that I missed. I can’t find the Harpood Head-I found out that it is in the Ceremonial Plaza in the planter, but I still can’t find it. Also, Elder Coin, says to look down at my feet before putting in the family crest, is that at the end of Episode 1 or at the end of Episode 2. Help please! Thanks

If you’re having trouble finding some collectibles or earning some achievements, there is a strategy guide for each episode available for purchase from within the game’s main menu. The strategy guides show screenshots of the locations of every collectible in the game and should help you find what you’re looking for. If you purchase the season pass, you’ll get all of the strategy guides included as well. Enjoy!

I have been having trouble with finding the second Oceanic Relic in Episode Two. I saw in a video walkthrough exactly where it is suppose to be, but it is not there on my game. I pride myself on being an achievement hunter, and it is really annoying me that I cannot get this one. Is it a glitch? Or am I just crazy?

Hi there. Glad you’re enjoying Adera. We don’t know of any issue with the collectibles in Episode 2, though they can sometimes be tough to spot. I’m not sure which guide you’re following, but the game offers in-app strategy guides that reveal the locations of all collectibles and how to get all Xbox achievements. You might try grabbing the guide for Episode 2. You can also post any potential issues you have on the Adera forums here if it really is a bug. Hope this helps!
